Teardrop Eye Necklace. 'The Witches of OZ' Collection
Pieces inspired by Elphaba. The bad Witch of the West was described in the books as a tyrant, elderly person and with a patch in the eye. L. Frank Baum explained that she had only one eye but that it was as powerful as a telescope, allowing the witch to see everything that happened in the kingdom from the windows of her castle. For this reason we want to represent the eye in several pieces.
Necklace of an eye with a tear. In this model of necklace we added a drop of blue water simulating a tear. For Elphaba the water is very lethal, it has a strong allergy. In the film The Wizard of Oz (1939) Dorothy manages to get rid of the evil witch by wetting her with a bucket of water.
